Presidential Courage
While going through books, sorting them for sale, I picked up a book by Michael Beschloss called Presidential Courage: Brave Leaders and how they Changed America, 1789-1989. The book profiles several different presidents including George Washington during the ordeal of the Jay Treaty, Abraham Lincoln at the close of the Civil War with the Emancipation Proclamation, and Theodore Roosevelt dealing with various enemies in his political life. Presidential courage is written by an experienced political reporter and is an interesting read. Presidential courage will go up for sale after I finish it for $1.00.
